Margaret Sanger
Margaret Sanger was a public health nurse who founded the American Birth Control League in 1921 to promote information on birth control. She believed that our countries standard of living could improve if we were able to control how many kids we have. In the 1920s and 1930s the use of birth control increased extremely. She helped the U.S. find a way to provide a better life for a necessary number of children.
